The rooms at Hotel Kastel & Spa are absolutely stunning. The bay windows let in so much natural light, making the room feel spacious and inviting. The bathroom is large and bright, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day of biking. Plus, the view of the sea from the room is absolutely breathtaking.

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the deep soaking bathtubs in the bathrooms. But hey, that's just my preference.

The hotel had excellent value for money, offering spacious rooms at a great price. The location, right across the street from the beach, was perfect for enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious, with a wide range of options to choose from.

Everything was great and we had a wonderful stay.

The location of the hotel was excellent, literally 2 minutes to the beach and short walk to reastaurants and harbour. You also had use of an indoor pool, which was a salt water pool with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, most spoke English. We had a family suite which had 2 seperate rooms and bathroom with bath and shower. We requested a beach veiw which was very nice. The rooms were cleaned everyday.

The traffic noise was the worst thing about the hotel, especially later at night. The family suite doesnot have a balcony which was a shame. We found the breakfast quite basic and quite expensive 38euros per day for a family of 4. There was a good bakery 2 mins away so we had fresh coissants and a drink on the beach everyday. I would also recommend a very good restaurant in the town called Cafe Foutu excellent food and reasonable prices.

The hotel is in the heart of Benodet and all rooms have a sea view. There is a friendly atmousphere and the staff are pleasant and helpful. The rooms are nicely furnished but became rather hot during the night. The dining room offers varied and good cuisine. We love Benodet and would certainly go back to the Kastel

Breakfasts were first class. Dining room prices were considered to be on the high side.

This hotel, located just across the street from the beach, offers great value for money. The rooms, especially those on the lower floors with seaview, are comfortable and well-maintained. The location is perfect for enjoying the nearby attractions and taking leisurely walks along the coast. Plus, the breakfast provides a good selection of items to start your day.

All aspects of this hotel were satisfactory.

The hotel offers an excellent location close to the beach, which allowed us to enjoy beautiful sunsets. , the rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. We particularly appreciated the modern look of the evening meals and the affordable bottles of good quality wine options.

The staff wasn't consistent in their level of service and professionalism. While some were friendly and professional, others were not attentive with basic details in the restaurant, which detracted from our overall experience.

Facing the Benodet plage, Kastel is a newly renovated hotel with a really good taste. We had the family room / suite on the fourth floor. Two separate rooms, one with double bed, one with twin beds, a bathroom, a toilet and a small washing room. Although we didn't have a balcony we didn't really miss it. The sea view was superb from the three windows. The room was nicely decorated in French Atlantique fashion and there was enough space even for 4 adults. The hotel has an elevator that stops between floors. It stops at the fourth floor where we were located. The room has a safe but not big enough for a laptop. Free parking and free internet are available to guests. The service was excellent and the lady at the reception very nice. For dinner we took the sea food offering they had one evening and we enjoyed enormous quantities of seafood at a reasonable price. We didn't have any other dinner at the hotel.

The two closets in the two rooms were quite small and it may be a problem for 4 adults staying longer than the two days we stayed. But there is also a set of drawers in the double room. Two of us tried breakfast the first morning and it is to be avoided. Very few items, not replenished properly and definitely not worth the 13 euros. Try a French bakery instead and some coffee at a sea side restaurant.

Family room, compact but comfortable and recently renovated. Free car park. Attentive and friendly staff. Lovely room with balcony, comfy bed, and big bathroom. Great walk opportunities. This hotel has a wonderful location. It has been modernised and improved although it still has some quirky features like a minute lift! Food is good and atmosphere relaxed. Many local facilities including a spa within walking distance and a private car park.

Comfortable, whide rooms with very convenient bathroom. Teapot is a plus, Pleasant hotel staff.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

We had a room at the front with balcony and sea view.The room was spacious, modern and very comfortable.The staff were charming and helpful. Benodet is a beautiful place for a holiday, and the hotel is in a great location.

The hotel is locked up at 10.30pm, the staff go home.I Forgot the door code one night and could have been locked out all night.Fortunately, a couple came back late and we were able to get in. The door code should be attached to the room key fob so you can't forget it. There are no English tv programmes, which would have made a difference. There should be milk sachets in the room to have with the tea or coffee, we had to ask for a small jug of milk each day.

Located right in front of the beach, this hotel boasts a great sea view from the rooms. The rooms are nicely decorated with comfortable beds and a practical layout. The friendly staff provides excellent service, and the breakfast offers a good selection of items. The hotel has an elevator and free parking and internet for guests, which makes the stay even more convenient.

The only downside is a minor detail in the room, like the plastic cups for tea or coffee and insufficient cable length for the kettle.

Great location. Smart, modern seaside decor. Nice breakfast room and fresh provisions.

The sauna, hammam, and indoor pool were a nice way to relax. The buffet breakfast was tasty too. Oh, and the New Year's Eve menu was only 96€ per person, a steal!

Who needs good Wi-Fi or a spacious room when you have a view of an old, poorly maintained tennis court?
